There wasn’t an analogous tank available at the time, and the diamond-shaped design allowed for the longest possible track, which boosted the tank’s capacity to maneuver across terrain on the battlefield and allowed it to traverse broad trenches. We replicated this feature in our Steam Tank model while maintaining the diamond shape.
