There is something about a short wheelbase trail rig that looks purposeful, and the new Trooper is no different. Mirroring that classic 2-door 80’s/90’s feel, the Trooper features an incredible, fully detailed scale bodyshell adorned with numerous molded accessories, full function front and rear lights with scale light buckets, finished with an interior and driver figure that truly brings the vehicle to life.

Underneath the Trooper a CNC machined LCG chassis holds a compact single speed gearbox and split transmission mounted as low as possible. Reverse transmission helps counter torque twist effect. A 3-link with Panhard bar set-up is featured at the front with traditional 4-link rear all controlled by aluminum oil filled shock absorbers. Straight axles front and rear house spiral cut drive and pinion gears, with the front using heavy-duty universal driveshafts.

The Trooper uses a waterproof, metal geared 25kg rated steering servo, along with the option to mount a winch servo should you wish to upgrade. A 60amp rated 2-in-1 speed control and 6-channel radio provide the control, while a 35T 550 sized brushed motor and 2000mAH 2S LiPo battery supply the power.
