Tamiya welcomes another racing car – this time, the Audi R8 LMS 2008 – paired with our popular TT- 02 chassis. Based upon the Audi R8 and conforming to GT3 regulations, the Audi R8 LMS was announced in 2008. A 5.2-litre V10 midship engine capable of over 500hp was mounted in a lightweight aluminium space frame. Body sections were modified, and the drivetrain was changed from 4WD to a rear-wheel drive system. From 2009 onward, this car was delivered to racing teams around the world and achieved many racing successes.
